- Financial performance concentrates on profitability, capital structure and so on.

A
- QUALITY OF SERVICES looks at matters like reliability, courtesy and competence.
- FLEXIBILITY: deliver at the right speed, to respond to precise customer specifications, and to cope with fluctuations in demand.
- RESOURCE UTILISATION, not surprisingly, considers how efficiently resources are being utilised.
- INNOVATION is assessed in terms of both the innovation process and the success of individual innovations.

Standards

+ The measures chosen for each of the dimensions being measured
+ Employees must view standards as FAIR and ACHIEVABLE, and must take OWNERSHIP of them.

Rewards are the motivators which encourage employees to work towards the standards set
