Hand on the Belt Sweep
You have OP in closed guard and he has both hands on the ground.
Sit up at an angle and place arm behind OP (Right arm on Op’s right shoulder).
Left hand goes on the ground to push you up.
Grab Op’s arm at the elbow to prevent posting.
Bridge and roll to the Mount position.
Kimura from Closed Guard
You have OP in closed guard and he has both hands on the ground.
Sit up at an angle and place arm behind OP (Right arm on Op’s right shoulder).
Left elbow goes on the ground to push you up.
Left hand grabs Op’s wrist.
Right arm goes over Op’s Tricep and wraps under Op’s elbow to grab your own wrist.
Wrap left leg over Op’s body.
Left arms pushes towards Op’s head
Cross Choke from Guard
You have OP in closed guard and he has both hands on the ground.
Open Op’s gi and reach across Op’s body as high as possible.
Grip collar with right hand.
A. Throw left leg over Op’s back.
With opposite arm slide your left hand, palm up, and grip Op’s opposite collar.
Return your leg to the ground.
Pull Op towards you with your elbows tucked in.
OR
B. Throw right leg over Op’s back.
With opposite arm reach over your right hand and grip anywhere on Op’s gi.
Return your leg to the ground.
Pull Op towards you with your elbows tucked in.
Inverted Arm Bar
You have OP in closed guard and he has both hands on the ground.
Partial sit up and pass left hand under Op’s elbow and reach around with right to establish a Gable Grip.
Lay back and straighten Op’s arm against your chest as you shrimp to your right side (maybe a little past 90).
Grab your own lapel with your left hand.
Place your left knee on the side of Op’s body.
Fold both arms over Op’s arm to push his arm towards the ground, with your head at his wrist.
Arm Bar from Closed Guard
You have Op in closed guard and he has good posture. He has grabbed your lapel.
With left hand grab Op’s gi at his wrist.
With right hand grab Op’s elbow. Slap down to bend his elbow if possible.
You should end up with your right hand rolled over, thumb down, and cupping Op’s triceps.
Left foot on Op’s hip.
Right leg comes up hits Op’s armpit. This should turn Op and allow you to lay your calf across his shoulders.
Your left hand is now free to frame against Op’s head if necessary.
Left leg comes over Op’s head.
Both hands to Op’s wrist.
Lift hips and pull down on wrist.

Both Hands on Both Legs Sweep
You have Op in Closed Guard.
Op attempts to stand to break closed guard, but he leaves your hands free.
When op stands, drop your hips to the ground by opening your guard.
Grab Op’s ankles with both hands.
Knees tighten in to Op’s waist.
Pull w/ hands, push w/ knees.
As Op falls sit up and grasp Op’s lapel sleeve. (Your right to Op’s right)
Sit up at a 45 using your left hand to post. Sit up through his open guard to Mount. You will come through at an angle, left knee lands first.

Underhook the Leg Sweep
You have Op in Closed Guard.
Op attempts to stand to break closed guard. He grips at your lapel and one sleeve, leaving you with one arm free.
Hook your right arm inside Op’s ankle and curl to attach your self and turn your body.
Keep your guard closed.
Attempt to break Op’s grip on your left sleeve by quickly reaching for your hair.
Post your right hand near your head and lift your hips, leaning your hips against Op’s knee.
With is leg trapped by your left elbow, Op will fall.
Open your guard on the way down.
Switch your right hand to Op’s sleeve that is gripping your lapel.
Use your left hand to push yourself to your knees in Mount.

Basic Spider Guard Sweep
When Op is on knees
Grip both of Op’s sleeves.
Open your guard and bring your knees in, with your feet on Op’s upper thighs.
Use your legs to scoot yourself away from Op to prevent being smashed.
Place your right foot against Op’s left bicep and extend your leg. This should result in your back coming off the ground with your weight leaning to your left hip.
Pull with your left hand to stretch Op out and place your left elbow on the ground directly under your shoulder.
Your left foot goes to the ground against Op’s right knee,
Begin pushing your right foot to the left.
Op will fall to your left.
Sit up into Mount.

Spider Guard Sweep
When Op is standing
Grip both of Op’s sleeves.
Open your guard and bring your knees in, with your feet on Op’s upper thighs.
Use your legs to scoot yourself away from Op to prevent being smashed.
Place your right foot against Op’s left bicep and extend your leg. This should result in your back coming off the ground with your weight leaning to your left hip.
Pull with your left hand to stretch Op out and place your left elbow on the ground directly under your shoulder.
If Op stands at this point, it will be easy for him to step towards your left, removing your foot from his hip.
When Op circles around, your push on his left bicep will move him close to you. Abandon your grip on his left sleeve and grab around his leg.
Shrimp your hip toward Op and extend your right leg to cause Op to fall.
Move into side control.

Triangle from Spider Guard
Op Kneeling or Standing
Grip both of Op’s sleeves.
Open your guard and bring your knees in, with your feet on Op’s upper thighs.
Use your legs to scoot yourself away from Op to prevent being smashed.
Place your right foot against Op’s left bicep and extend your leg. This should result in your back coming off the ground with your weight leaning to your left hip.
Pull with your left hand to stretch Op out and place your left elbow on the ground directly under your shoulder.
Slide your left foot off of Op’s bicep and onto his back.
Use your left leg to lift your hips. (Lift extra high if Op is standing)
Pull with both arms and slide your left foot off Op’s hip. Wrap legs and pass Op’s left arm across your body.
Shift your body 45° the direction that his hand is pointing.
Use your right hand to grasp under Op’s left knee.
Lift and squeeze for the submission. (Pull down on Op’s head with your free hand)

Balloon Sweep
Op is standing in your Spider Guard and has heavy weight on your foot.
In Spider Guard, when you feel that Op had his weight pushing down on your left foot, move your foot from his bicep back to his hip.
Pull Op’s sleeves up and lift him with your feet.
As Op travels up, he will want to place his hands on the mat above you.
Just before he can, “shake the carpet”. Snap his hands down towards your waist and push him over with your legs.
Reverse somersault over on one shoulder, following your own feet to land in Mount.

Regular Tripod Sweep
You have Spider Guard (or something similar) on a standing Op who is pulling away from you.
Open guard with:
Right hand on Op’s right lapel.
Left hand gripping Op’s left sleeve.
Right foot on Op’s left arm.
Left foot on Op’s hip.
If Op leans back…
Pivot 45°. Right foot moves from Op’s left arm to behind Op’s right foot.
Your right hand goes from Op’s lapel to Op’s left ankle.
Kick with your left foot on Op’s hip and sweep with your right leg to trip Op.
Move to half guard or side control.

Opposite Tripod
Open guard with: Right hand on Op's right lapel. Left hand gripping Op's left sleeve. Right foot on Op's left arm. Left foot on Op's hip. Op moves back... Switch Right hand to Op's right sleeve. Move left hand to Op's right ankle. Move right leg from Op's arm to hooking his left ankle on the inside. Kick to trip Op and come up to one foot with your knee on Op's leg to pass guard.

Collar + Sleeve Balloon Sweep
Open guard with:
Right hand on Op’s right lapel.
Left hand gripping Op’s left sleeve.
Right foot on Op’s left arm.
Left foot on Op’s hip.
Op drives forward…
Switch right foot from Op’s left arm to the inside of Op’s left thigh. This will be used to hook and lift Op.
Pull Op towards you to place all of his weight on your legs.
Pull on lapel and push sleeve down to prevent posting.
Roll Op over you.
You will roll into mount with your hand on Op’s lapel. ready for a choke.

Collar + Sleeve Triangle
Open guard with:
Right hand on Op’s right lapel.
Left hand gripping Op’s left sleeve.
Right foot on Op’s left arm.
Left foot on Op’s hip.
Op moves his upper body towards you without places much weight on your leg…
Lift your hips, using your left leg on Op’s Hip, and wrap your right leg onto Op’s back.
Your left leg goes over your right ankle to begin triangle.
Your left hand can be used to position your right ankle.
Pass Op’s left arm across your body.
Shift your body 45° the direction that his hand is pointing.
Use your right hand to grasp under Op’s left knee.
Lift and squeeze for the submission. (Pull down on Op’s head with your free hand.)
