A

Goal is to get uneven grip.
The lapel grip ties you to Op’s body. This prevents many Judo throws, double-leg, etc.
If you loose lapel, grab with other hand.

Grip Op’s gi at elbow. Shoulders back and hand down to break grip.
When Op tries to restore his grip on your lapel use the elbow grip to prevent.

If Op breaks your left grip on his lapel, try to switch your right hand from his sleeve to his lapel.
