defined rectangular area at the departure area of the runway;
- under the control of the aerodrome or
- with agreement of the authority controlling the clearway

command practice
the performance by a co-pilot of the duties required by the pilot in command during flight, under the supervision of a pilot in command designated for the purpose by the operator
co-pilot
a licensed pilot serving in any other piloting capacity other than the pilot in command, not to include a pilot receiving flight instruction

equipment that broadcasts a distinctive signal on a designated radio frequency to facilitate a SAR operation
final reserve fuel
