ROTIGOTINE:
#Apply at same time each day - dry, clean, hairless skin (hip, abdo, thigh, upper arm or shoulder)
#Rotate site of application - avoid 14 days

1. Nausea and Vomiting (give domperidone 30-60 mins before)
2. Symptoms of progressive FIRBROTIC DISORDERS (pleuropulmonary, retroperitoneal fibrosis)
3. Changes in mood or behaviour (impulse control, OCD)
4. Pituitary enlargement
BROMOCRIPTINE:
5. Symptoms of NMS (fever, muscle rigidity, rhabdomyolysis, profuse sweating, tachycardia)
CABERGOLINE:
5. Regular cardiovascular evaluation + echo (cardiac vulvulopathy)

BENZHEXOLE:

#max: 6 mg daily (PD) or 4mg BD (EPSE)
BIPERIDEN
#start: 1 mg BD (PD) or 1 - 2 mg daily

1. Fever or high ambient temperature (risk of hyperthermia)
2. GORD (may exacerbate)
3. Arrhythmias, CHD, HF (may exacerbate)
4. MENTAL status** (worsen cognitive impairment = confusion) (opposite of anticholinesterases)
5. Intra-ocular pressure (precipitate narrow-angle glaucoma)
NO renal or liver

E)

#Initially cause dizziness, blurred vision, nausea or dry mouth. These often decrease or disappear with continued use
#temp. relief of dry mouth, use sugarless gum or sweets, or a saliva substitute.
S/E (anticholinergic):
dry mouth, urinary retention, constipation, blurred vision, hallucinations, euphoria, delirium)

**DR - develop persistent diarrhoea, loss of appetite or weight loss, episodes of sudden onset of daytime sleep
