Galantamine (Reminyl)

1. Mild-to-Moderate Alzheimer’s disease

8 - 24 mg ONCE daily
D)
- Drugs with Anticholinergic effects (antagonises effect)
- Treatment interruption (restart at initial dose)

- Bradycardia (infrequent - precaution)
- DRUG INTERACTIONS (CYP 2D6, 3A4)
- RENAL ** (contraindiated <10mL/min)
- HEPATIC ** (reduced dose)

- ORAL: 1.5 - 6 mg TWICE daily
- PATCH: 1 patch (4.6 mg/24hrs) - 1 patch (9.5 mg/24hrs) ONCE daily
