Powerful anxiety that accompanies both obsessions and compulsions.

Obsessive thoughts that are unpleasant and frightening alongside with anxiety which can be overwhelming.

The urge to repeat a behaviour (compulsion) leads to anxiety.

Guilt or disgust, for example over minor moral issues.

What are the characteristics of Cognitive OCD

Answer 2

Excessive anxiety and compulsions even when they realise it isn’t rational.

Obsessive thoughts - thoughts that reoccur over and over again.
