Clinical feature-
Pain
Obstructive jourdice when head of pancreas is involved
Carcinoma of body, tail are silent
Migratory thrombophlebitis ( trousseau syndrome)
Raised serum levels of:-
Carcino embryonic antigen
CA 19 - 9 antigen
Trousseau syndrome
Spontaneously appearing - , and disappearing thrombophlebitis
Associated malignancies of migratory thrombophlebitis
- Most common in pancreas cancer
- Carcinoma lung
- GI track malignancies
- Prostate, ovary cancer
- Lymphoma
Trousseau’s sign
Carpopedal spasm in hypocalcomia
Troisier’s sign
Palpable left supra clavicular lymph node /Virchow’s node
