No duodenum, gallbladder, distal stomach but has part of bile duct. Causes possible exocrine insufficiency such as dumping syndrome, delayed GI emptying, lactose intol, DM/ insulin intolerance.
Nutrition implications= panc enzymes, fat sol vit, B12 d/t reduced protease, and reduced fat diet if svr symptoms
