Hypotension formula
for children 1-10 years of age, systolic hypotension is: 70 + [childs age in year x 2] mmHg
What things do you need to think about in an intubated patient who suddenly decompensates?
DOPE - displacement of tube, Obstruction of tube, PTX, Equipment failure
How hard do you push in kids??
at least 1/3 of AP chest diameter. 1.5in in infants, 2in in kids

D25W 2-4ml/kg, D10W 5-10ml/kg
Atropine dose
0.02mg/kg (min dose 0.1, max 0.5)
What is goal oxygen level in resuscitation?
90-95%
Epinephrine IV dose
0.01mg/kg (0.1ml/g of 1:10,000) max dose 1mg
