Hypotension formula
for children 1-10 years of age, systolic hypotension is: 70 + [childs age in year x 2] mmHg
What things do you need to think about in an intubated patient who suddenly decompensates?
DOPE - displacement of tube, Obstruction of tube, PTX, Equipment failure
How hard do you push in kids??
at least 1/3 of AP chest diameter. 1.5in in infants, 2in in kids
