Questionnaire, Tampa scale, survey of pain attitudes, Catatrophizing scale,
What assessment tools for measuring impact of pain?
Self report measures, activity diaries, automated measure of activity, functional capacity evaluations. Most widely used is the Oswestry disability index. Also the pain disability index and sickness impact profile
Why might the VAS be confusing and what should be done to ensure it is not?
The Vas should be horizontal, can look like a spine and confused by patients, putting their drawings on each part
