> 12 yrs and adults : 50-100 mg every 4-6 hours (max 400 mg/day)
elderly /hepatic or renal impairment: 25-50 mg every 4-6 hours

Dose of tramadol IM/ slow IV or infusion

> 12 yrs and adults; 50-100 mg every 4-6 hours ( max 600 mg/day)
elderly/hepatic or renal impairment- 25-50 mg every 4-6 hours

Dose of amitryptiline PO in neuropathic pain?

Answer 3

Adults :10-25 mg/ day at night. increase progressively to reach an effective dose. not>150 mg/day

Question 4

Dose of carbamazepine PO in neuropathic pain?

Answer 4

Adults:200 mg od ( night) - 1 week
200 mg bd - 2nd week
200 mg tid- 3rd week
Note : Teratogenic potential
