Involvement of epidermis by malignant ductal carcinoma cells

Itching/redness around nipple Flaking/thickened skin Painful area Flattened nipple Yellow/bloody nipple discharge

A
Dermatitis
Eczema - can be differentiated by the fact that eczema usually spares the nipple

Biopsy

Surgery - depends on underlying breast cancer
Radiotherapy may also be necessary
