Explain the sequence of the emergency briefing. who is responsible for what?

A

The captain will brief the emergency procedure in the event of a decision to stop before V1.

It includes actions, V1 speed for the day, and duties of the F/O.

The PF will then continue the brief on actions if the decision is to continue the take-off at or after V1 with engine failure (first sector of the day) or engine fire (second sector of the day).

The captain is responsible for the power levers up to V1.

A
  1. Fully configured by 1000ft AAL
  2. 500ft - stable callout by PM at 500 foot above minima.

If the instrument approach and visual approach criteria is not met, a missed needs to be initiated.
