What are risks associated with neonatal/natal teeth?
interfere with feeding, risk of aspiration of the tooth as they are often mobile, can cause trauma to the tongue
What might be reasons to extract natal/neonatal teeth?
if there are risks of trauma, aspiration, feeding issues
What are the first teeth to erupt into the mouth?
mandibular central incisors
When do the mandibular central primary incisors erupt?
6-10 months
When do the maxillary central primary incisors erupt?
8-10 months
At what age should all the primary incisors have erupted?
16 months
