A

Pneumostatic reduction

18
Q

A

Laparotomy

19
Q

What age is intusseception common?

A

6 - 12 months

20
Q

A

Abdominal wall defect - causing abdominal contents to be outside of the abdominal cavity

21
Q

Who is more affected by gastroschisis?

Males

Born to young mothers

22

A

USS

24
Q

Tx for gastroschisis?

A

Primary repair

Delayed repair w/ TPN

Same as omphalocele

25
Q

Compare gastroschisis and omphalocele?

A

Different to an omphalocele as omphalocele is still in the peritoneal membrane

Omphalocele is UMBILLICAL defect not gut wall
