PA: head of fibula, upper ½ - 2/3 of lateral fibula
DA: medial cuneiform and lateral side of 1st metatarsal base
N: superficial peroneal nerve

Peroneus Brevis
PA: inferior 2/3 of lateral fibular surface; also anterior and posterior intermuscular septa of leg
DA: base of 5th metatarsal
N: superficial peroneal nerve
A: everts foot and plantar flexes ankle
Extensor Digitorum Brevis
PA: anterior/dorsal portion of calcaneum; inferior extensor retinaculum
DA: 4 tendons (1 = extensor hallucis brevis into base of proximal phalanx of great toe; remaining 3 tendons insert into 2nd, 3rd, 4th toe
N: deep peroneal nerve
A: extends the toes
