what is pacifism
pacifism is the belief that war and violence are wrong and cannot be justified
peaceful methods should be used

what are the diff types of pacifism
absolute pacifism- it is never right to take part in war
conditional pacifism- is against war but accepts that sometimes it’s necessary
selective pacifism- opposes a certain type of war such as nuclear war
active pacifism- pacifist are heavily involved in political activity to promote peace and to argue against particular wars
what’s is conscientious objector
a person who refuses to fight or serve in the armed forces
