What does a moving charge create
A moving charge creates a magnetic field
What is the field made up of
Concentric circles perpendicular to the wire, with the wire in the centre
What is the right hand thumb rule
Its when using ur right hand, point your thumb in the the direction of the current and curl you fingers. The direction of your fingers is the direction of the field
What is a solenoid
A solenoid is a coil of wire
How can you increase the strength of the magnetic field
You can increase the strength of the magnetic field by wrapping the wire into a coil called a solenoid
What happens if you stop the current
The magnetic field disappears
How do u find the direction of the force
Use the left hand rule
