Q

How does a wire fuse reduce the risk of a fire if the appliance develops. Fault?

A
  • big current flows through live wire, through case and out down the earth wire
  • fuse blows and wire inside melts
  • circuit breaks
  • prevents flex overheating and fire
  • prevents further damage to appliance
17
Q

Whats the equation for power?

A

Power= voltage x current
