Lady Macbeth seems to have very little influence over Macbeth in the banquet scene, but at the beginning of the play he would do what she said.

When she attempts to calm him down, she asks him, “Are you a man?”, once more playing on his masculine insecurities, it has minimal effect on him and he carries on ranting and behaving wildly in the presence of his guests
analysis
One part of the problem that Lady Macbeth experiences during this pivotal scene is that just like the other guests, she does not understand why Macbeth is acting so strangely as she is not involved in his plan.

Her manipulative tactics are not effective, because he is not close to her anymore and also because he is lost in his own mad ravings, so she is incapable of controlling him anymore.
