Q

analysis

A

The word choice of “hide” means to conceal. As well as this, the word choice of “hide” has connotations of someone disguising something they did that was wrong as they do not want others to know about it. This suggests Macbeth is aware that he should not have this yearning to be king so is concealing it from others, which makes the audience speculate that he already feels remorse.
