“King of Kings”. This quote is a superlative for how ozymandius is comparing himself to God. What this also shows how hubristic(arrogant) ozymandius is. He thinks of himself as the most powerful person as of him thinking he is the “king of kings”

“I met a traveller from a antique land”- the use of “antique land” shows that this part of the country is old,precious and valued

“The lone level sands stretch far away”- ‘lone and level’ show that human power is only a small portion to what nature can do

The poem is a sonnet. This is related to love. So what this means is that ozymandias loves the power that he has.

A

Shelley(Poet) was a romantic poet. Shelley had a love for the power of nature. Nature took over the statue of ozymandias that was supposed to survive forever. Showing the real power of nature which Shelley loved . Which is why the poem is classed as a romantic poem
