Pre flight checks on oxygen bottle
- Minimum 1600 psi
- Mask and tubing attached to hi flow outlet
- Required number provided
Precautions of oxygen bottle
Handle with care
Minimum pressure level is 50psi
Clear from naked flame
Wipe away oil, grease, make up, dust
Stowage locations for Oxygen
A320 domestic
Bulkhead stowages aft of 1R
Overhead lockers fwd of 4L(29abc)
Types of masks for oxygen bottle
Two yellow masks(attached to bottle)
Explain difference when applying to child
Child - place mask away from face
Infant - place next to face
Demonstrates administration of oxygen
- Flight crew to be advised
- Vacate pax if necessary
- Turn shut off valve on
- Check oxygen is flowing
- Place mask over pax face - adjust strap to fit
- Monitor closely
- If pax shows signs of improvement adjust flow to LO - 2 l/min
- Regular monitoring
Demonstrate how to strap O2 to under seat
Loop belts used to attach bottle to the seat bar
Padded with blankets if required
Indicator facing upwards
Indicator facing out towards isle
Indicator not posing as a trip hazard
The oxygen bottle is no longer required what are your next actions
Remove mask from passenger face
Turn off valve
Remove used mask and Bin
Record name and address for future reference
Restow bottle in original location
Identify the documentation to be completed after use

2.red tag attached to O2 bottle
Demonstrates the correct handling of the O2 bottle
Bottle strap over shoulder like a guitar
