A

origin: medial clavicle, manubrium, sternum, ribs + costal cartilages, external abdominal oblique aponeurosis
insertion: crest of greater tubercle of humerus

range: inner > outer > inner

concentrically contracts to flex shoulder as arms hold weight above head
