A

Pressed in allows the outflow valve to be manually operated, in conjunction with the MAN RATE toggle and rotary switches. (MAN portion of the switch light illuminates)
2) The Fault portion of the switch light illuminates and indicates both pressurization controllers have failed

A

With the cabin pressurization in the man mode, controls the rate of change of the cabin alt

A

1) L PACK switchlight pressed in supplies the flight deck through the mixing manifold
2) R PACK switchlight pressed in supplies the PAX cabin through the mixing manifold
- The FAULT portion of the switchlight illuminates
- –Indicates either an over temp or over press condition
- The OFF portion of the switch light
- –The PACK is off

Pressed in allows for manual control of the airflow through the PACK by direct actuation of the temperature control valve (switch light on)

1) Allows for auto temperature control via the ACSC mixing hot and cold air

1) OFF: closes intake and exhaust SOV’s to seal aft cargo bay closure
2) AIR: SOV’s opened to allow recirculated or conditioned air to ventilate the aft cargo bay
3) COND AIR: Will provide automatic temp control of the aft cargo bay utilizing electric heater

1) ON: allows the cowl anti-ice SOV’s to open which will allow bleed air into the leading edge of the cowls via a piccolo tube

DET Test switch light(provides 3 different functions)

A

1) The switch light is used to test the ice detector circuitry and probes. Successful test will be indicated by an ICE caution and illumination of the DET TEST switch light
2) Pressed in and hold by the pilot will test the probes and sensor heaters. Successful test will be indicated by a green ADS HEAT TEST OK advisory msg
3) When in icing conditions with the wings or cowls off, the switch light will illuminate, along with an ICE caution msg

WSHLD LH and RH toggle switches

A

1) Low: All 4 panels are heated to 24°C

2) HI: Windshields are heated to 41°C

WSHLD TEST button

A

Pressed in, initiates a self-test of the windshield heating system. A successful test is indicated by the L and R WSHLD HEAT and L and R Window HEAT caution msg (windshields and windows must be energized prior to test)
