16
Q

how do DLP projectors work

A

they use millions of micro mirrors which can switch on and off thousand times a second creating shades of grey. Color filters are used to convert these shades of grey into colors which are projected onto a large screen

17
Q

how do LCD projectors work

A

1- they use chromatic-coated mirrors which reflect light at different wavelengths.
2- Three different light components pass through 3 LCD screen
3- images are then combined using a prism to create full color image
4- image passes through the projector lens onto a big screen
