they compare the virus signature against a database of known signatures

- prevents direct access to a web server

what are some ways you could keep data safe
- encrypt the data

what are the two types of on screen security methods
on screen keypad, drop down boxes
what is an on screen keypad
they are 8 digit code which the user has to use an on screen keypad.
what do on screen keypads prevent
they prevent spyware/keylogging as there are no keypresses. Numbers on the keyboard is made random as well
what do drop down boxes prevent
this stops key presses from being monitored
boxes can be placed in a different order everytime
what are two different types of passwords that can be used

what is a biometric password
scanned physical measurement that is compared to the stored physical measurement
(eg. finger print, face scan)
