Creates an offence of possession of a bladed or pointed article in a public place,

This applies to any article which has a blade or is sharply pointed

Except a folding pocket knife less than 7.62 cm (blade)

Crossbows Act 1987

Answer 2

An offence for a person under the age of 18, who has with him -

• a crossbow which is capable of discharging a missile, or parts of a crossbow which together (and without other parts) can be assembled to form a crossbow capable of discharging a missile,

Is guilty of an offence unless he is supervised by a 21 year old or older.

This offence only applies to crossbows with a draw weight of more than 1.4kgs
