Bacteria
A
- Often seen best with stain
- May see cocci or rods
- Will usually be wiggling
- Rod - pathogens
- Cocci - contaminant

Yeast
A
- Often confused with RBCs or lipid droplets
- Contaminants in sample
- Infection of external genitalia may cause yeast to be present in voided samples

A
- Seen with intact males
- No clinical significance
- May also be present in recently bred females
