held in position by holding both hands on the knee
muscle rebalances - squat, single leg squat, single leg stance

A

ROM = stretching rectus femoris bring pelvis to more neutral position, hold for 20 relax for 30 repeat 5x
Associated with ant. Pelvic tilt anf lumbar lordosis
Strengthening = inc. hamstrings, abs, glut max
4 sets of 10 15 reps
prone resisted hip flexion
standing hip single leg squats against chair
resisted hip flexion when standing with theraband

A

standing hip abduction - spread feet apart as far as possible and put pressure on outer part of shoes
feel butt contrack
hold for 5 to 10 seconds
5-10 reps 1-2 sets twice daily
double leg bridge - hold 3 seconds up and 3 seconds on the way down
8 reps, 3 sets daily
isometric hip abduction in supine with theraband 5-10 seconds, 5-10 reps 1-2 sets twice daily

ROM – hip abduction with chair for stability 10 -12 times 3 sets every other day
Strengthening – abduction against the wall 20 second hold 3 times
Lateral bridge 20 – 30 seconds hold 3 times
