What is GCT
On metaphyseal side of physis, expanding into epiphysis as a juxta-articular eccentrically placed lytic lesion with internal septation
What is most common benign bone tumour
Osteochondroma
What is Osteosarcoma
Peak in childhood and adolescence, and further peak in later years (associated with Paget’s diseases)
Commonly affect knee (50%) and humerus (25%)
Xray: Increased intramedullary sclerosis with permeative destruction
Elevaation of periosteum
