What was president Truman worried about
President Truman was worried about communsm spreading to Western Europs as USSR was becoming more powerful and made its own nuclear weapons and bombs and that is communsim succeeded, capitalism and USA’s status as power would decline

In 1947, this was when USA pledged to support any nation threatened by a communist takeover. For example, USA gave $400 million of aid to Turkey and Greeceto stop communism spreading
Why did USA believe that they should introduce the Truman Doctrine and provide support and help
The USA done this as they believed it was their duty to help those who were facing pressure from communist forces and to maintain world peace

In 1947, the marshall plan promised $17 billion of aid to european countries to help rebuild their economy

Stalin rejected the Marshall Plan as they were communist. Stalin ordered all his satellite states to reject the plan

Communist Information Bureau was established in 1947 which was when the organisation brought together all European cimmunist parties and placed them under control of the USSR

The Council for Mutual Economic Assistance wasbestablished in 1949 and it placed industry and agriculture under state control of USSR and offered satellite states aid as another way to the marshall plan.

Stalins main aim is to make communist state In Eastern Europe to follow USSR without questioning and overpower USA and made countries refuse to cooperate with the Marhsall plan and USA
Why did Yugoslavia become an independant communist state in 1948
Yogoslavia challenged USSR as they were trying to rule over yugoslavia and they freed themself from Nazis without the Red Army so owed less loyalty ti USSR. Tito refused to obey Stalin which caused tension.
