What must you do to manually control the cabin altitude?
The pressurization MODE selector knob must be in MAN. When in manual mode, both CPCS controllers revert to standby, but only one channel performs the manual operation. The channel selection is automatic.
With the pressurization system in manual mode, the pilot is responsible for opening and closing the outflow valve to maintain the desired cabin altitude (reference the QRH for the schedule).
In manual mode, there is no automatic cabin depressurization on the ground (after landing).
