Manager as harmonized:
- divides activity’s into individual tasks
- individual tasks match a specific job position

Advantages:
- less learning time
- less waste on learning materials
- better skills achieved
- better coordination
Consequences:
- staff and productive capacity increase
- bigger dimensions for organizations
- employees motivation decreases

Authority:
- right to command and be obeyed
- according to Max Weber authority is the result of 3 processes( Tradition, Legality and Charisma)
- power is based on legality and authority on democracy

A company can grow horizontally or vertically.

It depends on who is managing,who follows orders and on the complexity of tasks to perform.
