can contract due to large cytoskeleton eg cardiac, skeletal
what is epithelial tissue and example
covers/protects body surfaces (in and out) eg outer layer of skin
what is nervous tissue and example
transmit electrical signals (messages) to dif parts of body eg nerves, brain
what is connective tissue and example
binds and supports cells and tissues together eg fat, bone and blood
