A middle contains a transmitter and receiver. The transmitters sends out the signal and the receiver picks up reflected signals which guide the middle to the target
What is semi-active homing
Missile contains only a receiver, which utilizes signals originating from a source other than the missile, such as a radar or laser signals from the launch aircraft
What is a passive homing
Missiles contain only a receiver and utilizes emissions from the target, such as heat or radar

Air-launched, intercept-aerial, guided missile
What does AGM stand for
Air-launched, surface-attack, guided missile

Ship-launched, intercept guided missile
