- aircraft must be launched in 15 min

- rotor blades may be folded.
- aircraft does not have to be spotted, but must have a clear path to launch
- all personnel must be briefed for mission

Similar to condition 2 except minor maintenance may be preformed
LSE and support equipment must be designated
