A

looking at law to ensure across population (local district or rural) to ensure education + prevention, taking into consideration social status of community.

A

15, broken down so we can manage patients. A few dental clinics across.

Goals: access of OH care, collaboration, research and support workforce.

few areas natural. 1ppm= ideal. places missing are added. If no F in water, provision of F tp.

What should we note when considering Oral disease prevention across all ages?

A
  • maternal health= important dental check up
  • babies: blue book, collaborate with fam nurses.
  • kids: making sure kids get checkup at school. (all kids go to school, starting decay free) + promotion material to fam. goal is all kids got to HS decay free.
  • high school: dental programs, clinical placements. may have to address PD and gingivitis. stress brushing teeth + GUMS + checkups + sugar consumption, address vape and smoking. goal is when they leave HS with good OH. CDBS.
  • adults: bit harder bc not elegible for CDBS. program ‘Good OH’ to promote habits: brush twice F tp, brush gums to keep it healthy.
  • Older: regular checkup, denture hygiene. Clean regularly, nutrition.

A

6 LHD working with RAS, waitlisted AS/Refugees for tx and care. Providing them with starter kits and support as settling, OH addressed ASAP as they arrive in AUS. If you are in rural, ask about this project.
