Turn on 3 things: computer and switches at back
Do bottle w filtered water n tablet
Hand hygiene
Gloves
Flush all 4 ( including ultrasonic) hand pieces 2 mins ( use know not pedal)
Flush suctions w tap 2 mins

Fill orotol

Gloves off hand hygiene

10 wipes to wipe done

Describe wipe down routine after each patient…

Answer 3

Remove sharps and clinical waste
Dirty stuff in the bucket, bin disposables (don’t detach ultrasonic hand piece)
Hand hygiene, gloves on
10 wipes (12 if xray unit)
Chair up ( if last pt)
Take bucket to tools bay and get card sign off of tools ( don’t bring glasses, only clean gloves)

Do you get tools before patient?

Answer 4

No. Once patient present and noted on system. Can get it. Open tools in front of pt so they know its sterile.

keyboard and back table
Side table (extra 2 for xray if needed)
Chairs DO then DA, Seat then arm rest.

2 wipes
Light, DA cart/ mirrors, curing light
Suctions
Handpieces

1 wipe

Hand hygiene
Flush orotol
Flush suctions

Morning: 2mins in sink (HP/suction)
During: in bin 30 sec , suction 30 sec
End:for handpieces(empty bottle, flush till dry), orotol for suction
