A tab on the nose piece of the oxygen mask must be selected down for oxygen to flow into the smoke goggles.

The vertical mode will be disengaged and will be re-engaged after selecting ADC revisionary.
What happens to the cabin pressurization controller if the No. 1 MADC fails?
It switches to ISOBARIC mode of operation
Can the left side avionics be tuned with the right side RMU?
Yes, by pressing the 1/2 button on the right RMU, you can tune the appropriate avionics on the left side.

How is the power brake system pressurized?
A DC motor drives a hydraulic pump from a separate hydraulic reservoir
If the power brakes fail, is there a back-up system?
yes, pneumatically with nitrogen.
Is anti-skid protection still available when using the emergency brake system?
no.
At what speed will the anti-skid protection activate during taxi and takeoff?
Accelerating through 10-12 knots.
If operating with the battery switch in the EMER position, with the power brakes and anti-skid operate normally?
No.

If cabin alt > 10k ft and a/c alt. is >24.5k ft

How is the landing gear held in the up-locked and down-locked positions?
Up = Up-lock hook mechanism are hydraulically actuated to hold the gear. Down = Internal mechanical lock in the actuator is released by hydraulic pressure.
How are the landing gear locked in the down position?
by locking mechanisms internal to the gear actuator.
Is there a back-up system for landing gear extension?
Yes, the up-locks are released mechanically with cables (also pneumatically with nitrogen)
If one of the landing gear does not release from its up-lock when pulling and rotating the emergency gear extension T-handle, is there any other way to release the gear from the up-lock?
Yes, nitrogen from the emergency air bottle will release the up-lock and extend the gear.
