A

i.v. methyloprednisolone 1g/day for 3 days followed by oral prednisolone 1-2 mg/kg/day. After 3 days 50-60 mg (not less than 0.75 mg. reducing dose by 10 mg/day every 2 weeks until 20 mg/day is reached)
