I will be looking at the
Sclera
Iris
Conjunctiva
Pupil

Opthalmoscopy
A
If i am looking into the left eye of the patient i would place my left hand on their forehead and use my right hand and right eye to look into their eyes
I would then swap for the other eye
I am observing the
Optic disc (Contour, Colour and Cup)
Blood vessels (Arteries and veins)
Macular (colour)

Blot haemorrhage
Vitreous haemorrhage
Hard exudates
Av nipping
Cotton wool spots

A
- Diabetic retinopathy
- Hypertensive
retinopathy - Papilledema
- Glaucoma
- Optic neuritis
- Macular degeneration
