When is Rev Thrust assumed on takeoff?
Wet or contaminated runway.
No Rev assumed for dry, so no penalty if Rev not working.
What buffer for ATM take off?
+400kg and +/- 1HPa
If it goes down, the limit is more than 1 % mactow
Landing performance buffer?
15% for normal config.
No buffer for NNC.
Caution on OPT indicates what?
Wheels fuse plugs may melt. Not normal procedure to select an auto Brake that would result in caution or Melt.
If occurs: delay take off by 1 hour, then inspect wheels.
TOW 434,419.
What do you input into OPT
Round up on by one decimal. So 434.5.
How to state an increase of TOW for opt given a short taxi?
Final loadsheet 1 TOW + 500KG
Primary method of comparing OPT data for take off and landing now?
Compare function found in drop down menu (where updates loaded)
When must opt be recalculated?
When final loadsheet TOW greater than 600kg (assumed temp takeoff)
(Different for 777: 400kg)
Landing opt, what do you announce?
Reg, no lights, airport, rwy, flap, wind
Only calculation for take off need to be saved!

When does a Dispatch Landing Distance need to be applied?
- MEL affecting landing distance (example, no Rev thrust, no auto brake)
- Dest or Alt forecast to be contaminated at ETA
- Notam reducing landing dist avail
(Dispatch landing calc assumes max manual braking)

Higher of:
Loadsheet LW
Or
ZFW + landing fuel
(Higher of CALC OR TOT)
