What is the difference between trichiasis and distichiasis?
A
Trichiasis are normal eyelid and face hairs that rest on the cornea but do not cause irritation.
Distichiasis are small hairs that exit from the meibomian glands and cause variable degrees of irritation, squinting, corneal ulceration and d/c. Cryotherapy and surgery are preferred tx.

What are the three signs of horner’s syndrome?
A
Miosis (small pupil), ptosis (drooping upper eyelid), enopthalmos (posteriorly displaced eye)
