Inadvertent IMC Procedure
FLY THE AIRCRAFT
-Attitude indicator - Level atitude.
-Airspeed - Safe AS
-Collective - Begin climb to 10000’
Upon reaching 10000’:
-Begin turn to heading 180
-Call LA Center 124.85
-Declare an emergency
-Comply with instructions
Irregularity Report
Submit on flightandduty as soon as practical after an irregularity, incident, or SFAR deviation.
Passenger Briefing
- Smoking
- Use of seat belts
- Doors and exits
- Location of survival equipment
- Flotation equipment
- Use of oxygen (above 12,000’)
- Fire extinguisher location/operation
- Approaching and exiting the helicopter (rotor avoidance)
Special Evacuation Assistance Briefing
Consicely brief additional consideration for those requiring special assistance.
Seat the passenger near, but not right next to an emergency exit.
Lap Child
A child under the age of two may be held by an adult. An approved child restraint system may be utilized.
Not in exit seat
Cargo Handling
Cargo must be weighed and loading of it supervised by the PIC.
Flight Locating Procedures
All information that would be included in a VFR flight plan.
ETA +10 min: Flight followers will atempt to establish radio contact.
ETA +20 minutes: A search aircraft will be launched.
ETA +30 minutes: President notified.
ETA +35 minutes: Additional search aircraft launched and FAA tower of FSS notified.
Flight Time Limitations and Rest Requirements
500 hrs in a quarter.
800 hrs in 2 consecutive quarters.
1400 hrs in a calendar year.
8 hrs flight time in 24 hour period.
10 consecutive hours rest before flight.
13 rest periods of 24 hrs in each quarter.
Flight time exceeded
By less than 30 min: 11 hrs rest.
By 30-60 min: 12 hrs rest.
By more than 60 min: 16 hrs rest
Service Difficulty Reports
Must report certain malfunctions or aircraft emergencies to the FAA

Approved by the FAA. A set of rules that an operator agrees to operate by.

Seating assignment for minors
Under 15 years of age should be accompanied and not sit in emergency exit seat.
Weather limitations
Guidelines:
Winds 30-35 knots or gust spread 20+ knots
Stay 5nm away from lightning
Ceiling below 200’ agl
Visibility less than 1 mile
Turbulence moderate to severe
MEL Repair Categories
Category A: Repair in the specified (in remarks) time interval.
Category B: Must be repaired within 3 consecutive calendar days.
Category C: Must be repaired within 10 consecutive calendar days.
Category D: Must be repaired within 120 consecutive calendar days
