Fuel cells

A

3 interconnected bladder (crashworthy) fuel cells. 2 front and 1 aft cell. Dual element ejector pump connects the cells.

Dual element ejector pump

A

Located between forward fuel cells. Transfers fuel from forward cells aft when boost pumps are operating.

Interconnect tube

A

Permits flow between forward cells, and in case of boost pump failure, allows for gravity transfer to aft cell.

A

1 forward cell and 2 aft cell probes sending signal to fuel gage. Can view FWD only fuel using switch in cockpit.

In-line check valves

A

Airframe Fuel Filter

A

Bypass valve triggers warning light on instrument panel. Push to test button on top. Drain valve.

Low fuel warning switch

A

Located on fuel boost pump assembly and electrically connected to caution panel. Light illuminates when 50-75 lbs fuel remaining in aft cell.
