Q

Fueling/defueling

A
  1. Lock the turret in the 3 or 9 o’clock position
  2. Switch the turret operating stage to turret off
  3. Turret power to off
  4. Turn off heater, allow it to purge
  5. Switch off engine
  6. Master switch at position 1
WARNING - Do not set master switch to position 2 because the fuel pump will start immediately
  7. Ensure the submersion hydraulics are off
  8. Check fire extinguishing system
  9. Attach fuel transfer hose to desired transfer nozzle (forward one for defueling, rearward one for fueling)
  10. Fasten transfer hose to container, (join transfer hoses together for more length)
  11. move hard lined hose to front port for receiving tank(fueling) and transfer hose to rear port
  12. Switch the fueling/defueling change over handle to fuel/defuel.

Brake Lining Distance Test

A

BRAKE LINING DISTANCE TEST
• Rotate the turret to the 6:00, 10: or the 11:40 position and lock it. Ensure that the veh is parked on a level surface so it doesn’t roll OFF
• Set the turret mode switch to TURRET OFF
• Set the battery master switch to “0”
• Check that the emergency disengagement device reservoir level is on MAX
• Open the left and right brake inspection plates
• Ensure the park brake is in PARK position;
Place the extension handle onto the pump, and bring it up to 135 bar
Check that the emergency disengagement reservoir level is at MIN
• The brake linings lift off from the brake disc approx 2mm and may now be moved easily
Check the distance on the left and right
• Pull the pressure relief valve knob, the brake linings settle again on the brake disks
NOTE: The oil level in the reservoir must reach its specified fill level (MAX) again during actuation of the pressure relief valve

Q

Park Brake Pressure Release Test

A

OPERATION
Set the park brake lever to PARK
• Rotate the turret to the 6:00 or 11:40 position and lock it
• Ensure that the E-GSS push-pull switch on the loaders control box is in the OFF position (downwards)
• Switch the turret mode switch to the TURRET OFF
position
Check the hydraulic oil level in the reservoir. The oil level is on the MAX mark
Take the extension and place it on the pump lever
• Continue pumping the handle until the pressure gauge rises above 135 bar
• The hydraulic oil in the reservoir will fall below the MIN
mark
• The parking brake is disengaged, remove and stow the extension

CAUTION: Check the pressure during travel at 15 minutes intervals, perform additional pumping if necessary.
