SNOT - awarded randomly within bid category

How many times can a pilot be junior assigned a month? What length are those trips allowed to be?
Twice. 1 - 2 day pairings
What are 2 ways a SNOT trip can be offered? How do we determine which one to choose?
S and P.
S for legal available reserve at straight
P for NON legal available reserve at premium
What is the purpose of the CAP? How is it calculated?
Allows less senior pilots a chance to be rewarded bids by subordinating their position in bid category

What are the schedule line guarantees for each month?
28/29 days (85 TFP), 30 days (87 TFP), 31 days (89 TFP)
What does premium pay? What does a JA event pay?
Premium - 1.5 x legs or full rig
JA - double time or full rig
What effect does bidding out of domicile have on a pilot?
Subordinating their position in the bid category
How much does a pilot bidding over vacation pay?
ONLY premium
What does GDO do?
Prevent pilot from being JA’d on OT
Last resort unscheduled overnight

What are the rules for 2nd process reserve?
Trips must fit RAP
Am reserves must block in by 1730L on last day of pairing

5 mins after first bid is received because some mobile bids take longer to come in
What rules change in 4th process reserve?
AM reserve CAN now block in after 1730L
Reserve’s RAP can be involuntarily changed on the second and subsequent days to avoid JA
Can JA be bid?
No. It is only assigned to them

No out of base in middle of trip
