make sure they’re NOT a commuter as they may not be in position to operate

double check RAP start by opening reserve block
what comment do you put for a reserve in notify?
RAP time // Report time
what do you do when you call, leave messages, etc. in notify?
update comments
what is the red exclamation mark? why is it used on a reserve?
High Alert, used on a reserve to notify promptly @ RAP start due to less than 2hrs to report
In what pairing does a pilot NOT get up close parking?
in Open Time pairing since they bid for that time they are aware of the trip times
what do you look at first in the second/middle window?
OTB - on ground
what is a must catch in regards to the first/top window?
pilots who think they’re done for the day or an immediate change to their next trip
what do you need to add to an open time award reserve once it pops into the third/last window?
add the audit box and save so that it moves into the middle window
what MUST you do before notifying a pilot?
run a force check and check for gate returns
why do you run a force check?
to catch all cumulative legalities
when do you use a FDP leg?
only used if time spent after last block in was used for FLIGHT RELATED DUTIES (ex: repo, er, time spent waiting for flight that later cancels)
what does an FDP do at the end of a pairing?
it extends the table B clock when used?
when do you use a LIMO leg at the beginning?
for a delayed report if pilots first flight is severely delayed (ex: rpt - 1755
LIMO - LAS 1755 LAS 2000)
when do you use a LIMO leg at the end?
when pilots have NO FURTHER INTENT TO OPERATE (ex: transport issues, drug tests, DH cancellations, etc.)
does a LIMO add FDP to their day?
no
